About Iku Oyamada
Born in Komoro City, Nagano Prefecture in 1956. Made his debut in 1980 with "December's Yui" in Weekly Shonen Champion. That same year, he began serializing the school youth manga Scrap Book in the same magazine, with Komoro City as its setting. Other notable works include Star Locus and Marionette Master. He passed away in 2016. In 2022, his works were officially recognized as "Komoro Hometown Heritage."
