The Seven Deadly Sins: Origin Rolls Out v2.1 Update, Adding New Character Khala

The animation open-world RPG The Seven Deadly Sins: Origin (developed by Netmarble F&C Inc.) is rolling out its v2.1 update on September 17th (Thursday), adding new character Khala, new raid content, an expansion to the "Transcendence" difficulty, new quests, and a period-limited event.

Ravens' Vigilante Thief Khala Joins the Battle!

Khala, a vigilante thief of the Ravens who wields the "Duplication" magic power, joins the world of "Nanaori" as an original character created for The Seven Deadly Sins: Origin. She can switch between three weapon types — Twin Swords, Three-Section Staff, and Gauntlet — each offering a different combat style.

Twin Swords: A Wind-attribute Attacker who builds up buffs to unleash explosive damage.
Three-Section Staff: A Wind-attribute Burster who stacks debuffs to boost the whole team's damage output.
Gauntlet: An Earth-attribute Burster who builds up the Burst Gauge while using debuffs to increase the team's normal skill damage.

Khala can be obtained from the new pickup gacha "Ravens' Romanticist Thief," running until October 8th (Thursday). During the same period, the "Khala Trial Event" will also be held, letting players test her combat abilities while earning rewards such as Star Fragments and Mastery EXP (Highest Grade).

A costume gacha titled "A Belief Named 'Romance'" is also running, offering Khala's exclusive costume and weapon costume.

Fan-Voted "Survey Pickup" Also Arrives

Reflecting the results of an earlier player vote, the "Survey Pickup - Invitation of the Guardian of Stars" is running as well. The three characters that ranked highest in the vote — Merlin, Elizabeth, and Daisy — along with their exclusive costumes, appear in the pickup gacha from September 17th (Thursday) through October 8th (Thursday).

New Raid "Felsen Mine" and "Banya Village Ale Festival" Event Added

The update also adds new content and events, including the following.

Boss Challenge "'Corrosion' Ancient Dragon" — Transcendence Difficulty Expansion: The high-difficulty "Transcendence" tier has been added, letting players obtain materials needed for Transcendent Refining and Engraving.
Time-Limited Event "Banya Village Ale Festival": Running until October 8th (Thursday), this event offers event quests, mini-games, and more.
