The Shadowverse: Evolve Japan Championship 2026 — the invitational tournament to determine the 2025 Japanese language champion of the real card game Shadowverse: Evolve — was held on March 7–8, 2026.
70 Players Competed for the 2025 Japanese Language Champion Title
The championship is an invitation-only event open only to players who earned qualifying spots through major tournaments including the Grand Prix, Grand Championship, the Crossover Autumn Challenge, and Japan Championship area qualifiers.
This year, 65 players who qualified within Japan were joined by 5 players from overseas qualifying regions — Southeast Asia, South Korea, Hong Kong, and Taiwan — for a total of 70 competitors.
Day 1 of the qualifying round featured individual play in a Standard 2-deck BO1 format, with 10 rounds of fierce competition.
Qualifying Round
All participants received an "Astro Wing Lalamia" supply set and the PR card "Unbridled Hellfire Cerberus." The champion would receive a one-of-a-kind card: "Astro Wing Lalamia" in a special alternate art version.
Top 8 Advance to the Grand Finals
On March 8 (Sunday), the Grand Finals brought together the top 8 players from Day 1 to compete for the championship title.

Champion: Santime
The Grand Finals used a Standard BO3 format, with players using the same two decks from Day 1. The first to win two matches advances.
The championship match was contested between Santime — who had entered the Grand Finals from 8th place — and Engawa, a player making their fourth consecutive appearance at the Japan Championship. After an intense back-and-forth battle, Santime claimed the title of 2025 Shadowverse: Evolve Japanese language champion, winning with "Machine Nightmare" in the first game and "Spell PriConne" in the second.
Santime received the one-of-a-kind special alternate art SP version of the PR card "Astro Wing Lalamia."
