Plush artist SOBORO has built a devoted following through "Omukaekai" sales events held on social media and online, where new pieces often sell out almost instantly. Now, fan-favorite characters from SOBORO's work are becoming flocked figures in "SOBORO's Cheerful Friends Figure Keychains," launching in stages nationwide from late October 2026 through Blue Mountain Co., Ltd. SOBORO's announcement post on Instagram has already drawn a wave of anticipation from fans, making this a long-awaited capsule toy debut.

Soft, Flocked Texture That Captures SOBORO's World
These flocked figures reproduce the soft, fuzzy texture unique to SOBORO's plush designs. The eyes and nose are made as separate parts rather than flocked, capturing each character's endearing expression down to the smallest detail.

About the Artist: SOBORO
Born in 1983, SOBORO graduated from the Oil Painting course in the Department of Painting at the Tokyo University of the Arts' Faculty of Fine Arts and completed the university's graduate program there. Some time after graduating, the artist began working under the name "SOBORO" and published the book 『SOBOROのおとぼけぬいぐるみ』 (Seibundo Shinkosha) in 2014. Following a hiatus, SOBORO began creating plush toys in the current style around 2017, and published 『SOBOROのふわもこ縫いぐるみチャーム』 (文化出版局) in 2021. SOBORO is currently active mainly through "Omukaekai," sales events held irregularly on social media and online.
