Sof' Ice Cream Launches First-Ever Pudding Flavor with New TV Commercial

Akagi Nyugyo Co., Ltd. is set to release renewed "Sof' Hokkaido Milk Vanilla" in late February 2026, followed by the brand-new "Sof' Milk-Rich Pudding" flavor on February 23 (Monday), marking the series' first-ever flavor variation.

Sof' Hokkaido Milk Vanilla

This ice cream features milk delivered directly from Hokkaido, with all dairy products sourced from the region. The product offers a rich milk flavor and aromatic experience. The renewal focuses on sweetness that enhances the milk's natural taste by replacing part of the sugar with beet sugar, creating a milder, more approachable sweetness that keeps you coming back for more.

Sof' Milk-Rich Pudding

The new flavor uses generous amounts of Hokkaido-delivered milk to create a pudding-flavored soft cream rich in milky goodness. The addition of eggs and caramelized sugar brings authentic pudding flavor to the mix. The result is a perfect harmony between milk's refreshing quality and pudding's rich depth.

New TV Commercial Series

To coincide with the new product launch, a new TV commercial titled "Uesama no Ue Dake" (The Top of the Top) Season 2 will air nationwide from February 23, 2026. The commercial builds on last year's well-received "Uesama" (Lord) series by introducing a new character: a town girl. The ads promise to expand the "top only" world even further with enhanced entertainment value.

The commercial will air nationwide from February 23 to March 9, 2026, and again from April 1 to April 30, 2026. The 15-second spot is titled "Naze ka Uesama Chikurin-hen" (Why Lord: Bamboo Grove Edition).
