Solo Leveling: ARISE has received a significant update, bringing a brand-new playable SSR hunter, expanded story content, new gear, and a range of in-game events.
New SSR Hunter: Liu Zhigang
Joining the roster as a fire-attribute Elemental Buster, Liu Zhigang is a seven-star-rank hunter who fights with an elegant style that alternates freely between a sword and a blade. His kit includes three key abilities:
- Qian Long Zai Ye – A wide sweeping strike using both weapons
- Yun Cong Long – A leap into the air followed by a powerful slashing attack
- Ming De Fire Dragon – Liu Zhigang channels the power of a dragon to unleash overwhelming force
New Story Chapters and Story Gallery
The update expands the narrative with Chapters 32 through 34, added to both "Story (Hard)" and "Reverse (Hard)" modes. A new "Story Gallery" feature has also been implemented, giving players a single place to browse web comic scenes and illustrations from cleared main story chapters.
New Dungeon and Monarch
A new dungeon called "The Land of the Beginning" is now available, accompanied by a new primordial monarch, Legia.
New Weapons and Artifact Gear
The update adds two new SSR wind-attribute weapons — "Soma & Asura" and "Kofu Seigetu" — along with a complete set of artifact armor and accessories from the "Surtr's Flame" series, covering all 8 equipment slots.
Anniversary Events
Several events are now live in celebration of the game's approaching third anniversary. Highlights include three "Aiming for the 3rd Anniversary!" event campaigns, a "2nd Anniversary Artifact Crafting & Reconstruction Event," and various challenge events offering a wide range of rewards.
