About SPY x FAMILY
SPY x FAMILY is a spy-action comedy manga series by Tatsuya Endo, serialized in Shonen Jump+ since March 2019. Set in a world of intense intelligence operations, the story follows undercover spy "Twilight," who must build a fake family in order to infiltrate a target's social circle and prevent war between nations. Posing as ordinary citizen Loid Forger, he finds that his adopted daughter Anya is a telepath and his wife Yor is a professional assassin — a family full of secrets taking on world peace together.
The series has sold over 42 million copies across 17 volumes (as of April 2026). The TV anime adaptation began in April 2022 (Season 1), co-produced by WIT STUDIO and CloverWorks under director Kazuhiro Furuhashi. Season 2 aired from October 2023, featuring the fan-favorite "Luxury Cruise Ship Arc." The theatrical film SPY x FAMILY CODE: White, released December 22, 2023, grossed 6.32 billion yen with over 4.64 million admissions. Season 3 launched in October 2025, covering new story arcs including "Loid's Past Arc" and the "Wheeler Arc," with opening theme "Akari wo Mamoru" by Spitz and ending theme "Actor" by Ikuta Lilas.
