S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Cost of Hope Is Out Now, With a New Launch Trailer Showing the Zone

Sega has released S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Cost of Hope, the large-scale expansion content for GSC Game World's S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl.

S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Cost of Hope is a large-scale piece of downloadable content packed with dozens of hours of gameplay. Two new regions are added, each with its own hub, quests, and activities. The story depicts a faint ray of hope breaking through an atmosphere of heavy collapse.

S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Cost of Hope can be purchased on its own, and it is also included in the Ultimate Edition, which bundles the base game together with a range of additional content.

Launch Trailer Released

Alongside the expansion's release, a trailer offering a glimpse of its content has been published. The trailer offers a look at the harsh conditions within "the Zone" and the feelings of the various people active there.

Update 2.0 Released for S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl

Alongside S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Cost of Hope, Update 2.0 for S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl has also been released.

This update moves the game to Unreal Engine 5.5.4 and delivers the largest overhaul since launch, refreshing the Zone's look, atmosphere, and even its ecosystem. New elements introduced include reworked lighting, improved AI, three types of binoculars, new weapons and attachments, and highly customizable difficulty settings.
