Hoppe-chan is the mascot of the mail-order shop Sun Hoseki. Known for a glossy, squishy silicone body, round eyes, and sparkling cheeks, the character first appeared in the Sun Hoseki catalog in 2010 and quickly became a hit, particularly with young girls during the Heisei era.
