Sunshine City Prince Hotel (3-1-5 Higashi-Ikebukuro, Toshima-ku, Tokyo; General Manager: Mayumi Oda) is set to offer a Ranma 1/2 collaboration concept room stay plan from July 25 (Saturday) to October 24 (Saturday), 2026. The plan immerses guests in the world of the beloved TV anime series Ranma 1/2, which has resonated with fans across generations.
The plan takes "Summer in the Showa Era" as its theme, recreating the Tendo family's living room from the series as a Japanese-style room that evokes a nostalgic and warm atmosphere — as if stepping inside the story itself.
Concept Room: A Recreated Tendo Family Living Room
The room interior is designed to resemble the Tendo family's living room, decorated with characters from the Tendo and Saotome families. Character decorations also appear in the dressing room area, bringing the world of Ranma 1/2 to life throughout the entire guest room.
An original illustration specially drawn for this collaboration depicts Ranma (male), Ranma (female), Akane, and Shampoo enjoying sparklers together in the Tendo family garden. Combined with the Japanese-style room setting, the illustration enhances the sense of being inside the story.
