Phoenixx Inc. has announced it will publish Super Hook Girl: Ultra Challenge!!, a high-speed 2D hook action game developed by independent studio Studio Hookshot. The official website and a new promotional video have been released alongside the announcement.
The game will also be featured at TOKYO INDIE GAMES SUMMIT 2026, held in Tokyo on March 20 (Friday, public holiday) and March 21 (Saturday), 2026.

Super Hook Girl: Ultra Challenge!! is a 2D action game where players use hook mechanics to tackle a variety of stage gimmicks on the way to the goal. It is currently in active development for Steam.

1. Control Everything with Just a Mouse
All movement, jumping, and hooking are performed using only the mouse:
- Left/Right Movement: Move in the direction of the mouse cursor
- Right Click: Jump at any time
- Left Click: Fire a hook shot in the direction of the mouse cursor
By combining hooks into floors and walls to trigger a "Dash," players can race through stages at high speed in a satisfying, fluid style.
2. Deep Time Attack for Those Chasing the Fastest Clear
Each stage offers countless possible routes depending on player creativity. Since the hook can latch onto virtually any surface, unexpected paths and shortcuts are waiting to be discovered. Honing techniques and learning each stage inside-out is key to chasing the fastest record.
3. A Sisters' Adventure to Reach the Stars
Protagonist "Hook" and her younger sister "Pick" set out on an adventure to reach the stars after their master suddenly disappears. While "Hook" blazes through stages, "Pick" supports her every step via radio communication. The sense of achievement when clearing a tough section together after multiple attempts is a key part of the experience.
4. A Full Remake of "New Super Hook Girl"
The game is a full remake based on "New Super Hook Girl," a freeware title released in February 2016 that earned multiple awards. Alongside upgraded graphics and UI, the remake introduces new actions — "Dash" and "Wall Dash" — for a more challenging experience. Additional new stages and features are also in the works, with further details to be announced.
