Super Takoyaki Battle Now Available for Pre-Order on Nintendo Switch and Steam

SAT-BOX has opened pre-orders for its new Nintendo Switch and Steam title, Super Takoyaki Battle.

Super Takoyaki Battle is an action game themed around making takoyaki. Fill the molds with batter and ingredients, flip them with a pick, and cook up as many delicious takoyaki as possible.

The game includes a variety of modes: Party Battle, where items and events cause chaos as everyone competes; Versus, where players go head-to-head to test their skills; and Score Attack, where players make takoyaki to match incoming orders. By sharing Joy-Con controllers, up to four players can enjoy an intense takoyaki battle together.

Takoyaki-Making, Reinvented

Fill the holes with batter and ingredients, and once they start to brown, use the pick to flip the takoyaki. Flip too early or too late, and it's a failure — cook both sides to a golden brown to finish each piece.

The better the cooking, the higher the score. Make as many takoyaki as possible within the time limit and aim for a new personal best.

Party Battle: The Game's Highlight

In Party Battle, up to four players gather around one large hot plate for a frantic showdown. The goal is to quickly collect finished takoyaki and serve more of them than the rivals.

Various events occur during battle. Items can be used to gain an edge over rivals or attempt a last-minute comeback.

The outcome stays uncertain until the very end, making for an intense takoyaki battle.

Three Stages to Test Your Skills: Score Attack

In Score Attack, players can test their skills using three types of takoyaki makers: home, food-stall, and commercial.

Each stage changes how easy the takoyaki are to cook and what strategies work best. Make takoyaki to match the orders and aim for a high score.

Rankings are also supported, letting players compete for records against players from around the world.

Matches Against the CPU Are Also Available

In Versus, up to four players can compete to show off their takoyaki-making skills. The mode also supports matches against the CPU, so even a single player can casually enjoy a battle.
