Prizes featuring characters from Duolingo, the language-learning app loved around the world, are on their way to amusement facilities across Japan. Taito Corporation (headquartered in Shinjuku, Tokyo), which runs the Taito Station amusement facilities nationwide, will roll out the Duolingo prizes in stages from January 2027 at amusement facilities and other venues across the country.
Overview
Duolingo is a learning app that lets users study languages in a fun, game-like way. The new prizes are designed around the characters that appear in the app.
The first products, scheduled for January 2027, are the plush mascot (「Duolingo ぬいぐるみマスコット」) and the extra-large plush (「Duolingo 特大サイズぬいぐるみ」). More new items are planned to follow.
