An English version of "Talon Japan," a Japan travel information site for Thai visitors, has been launched. The site is operated by Inbound Buzz Co., Ltd., which carries out inbound promotion mainly in Southeast Asia. With the English edition, the appeal of Japan presented on the site can now reach people across Southeast Asia, not only in Thailand.

Why an English Version Was Added
"Talon Japan" introduces Japanese travel information in Thai. It draws about 600,000 page views a month, and the Facebook group it runs has more than 1.4 million members (as of October 2026), making it a resource used by many Thai travelers to Japan. The site publishes coupons and sponsored articles for well-known Japanese retailers, apparel companies, and local governments, and some of those clients report that being featured on "Talon Japan" has helped lift sales at their stores.
English has now been added as a language, with the aim of bringing in more international visitors and raising sales for the businesses and local governments featured on the site. English is an official language in several countries, including Singapore, and is widely used across Southeast Asia. Articles and coupon information on "Talon Japan" can therefore reach readers outside Thailand as well.
Record Spending by International Visitors in the First Half of 2026
According to the Japan Tourism Agency's Inbound Consumption Trend Survey (インバウンド消費動向調査) second preliminary report for April to June 2026, international visitors' travel spending in Japan is estimated at ¥2.5125 trillion, up 0.3% from the same period in 2025. Combined with January to March 2026, spending for the first half of 2026 is estimated at ¥4.8498 trillion, about 1.3% higher than a year earlier and at a record-high level.
By nationality and region, Thailand ranked 6th and Singapore 10th in travel spending in Japan for April to June 2026. Both are relatively high among Southeast Asian countries, and both were up from the same period a year earlier.
Many visitors from Southeast Asia return to Japan, and Japan is expected to remain a popular destination for them. With support for both Thai and English, "Talon Japan" aims to grow its readership and expand its media and business.
