Ken Elephant's soft vinyl studio Chukukobo (中空工房) is releasing the 4th wave of the Tezuka Osamu Characters Sofvi Collection on June 10, 2026 (Wednesday). The new additions are Hosuke Sharaku, the protagonist of the manga The Three-Eyed One, and Unico, the protagonist of the manga Unico.
The Tezuka Osamu Characters Sofvi Collection is produced under supervision by Tezuka Productions, transforming key scenes from the original manga into three-dimensional soft vinyl form. Previous installments have featured characters such as Ambassador Atom and Phoenix: Chirol, earning the series recognition for bringing each character's charm to life in soft vinyl.
The distinctive, elegant curves of Tezuka Osamu's artwork are reproduced using soft vinyl manufacturing techniques cultivated at Chukukobo's own workshop in Sumida, Tokyo, combined with hand-painted finishing by skilled artisans—creating figures that appear to have stepped directly out of the pages of the original manga.
The series aims to highlight a different side of well-known characters—moments familiar only to readers of the original works—with the hope of inspiring people to pick up the manga again.
