About Thunder 3
"Thunder 3" is based on the popular manga by Yuki Ikeda, serialized in Monthly Shonen Magazine (Kodansha). Three ordinary middle school students set off on a wildly imaginative adventure to find a lost little sister. The work drew attention as a shocking sci-fi tale that breaks new ground for manga, and it has now been adapted into a TV anime.
Story
Pyontaro, an unremarkable middle school student whose little sister Futaba is very fond of him, is known as one of the "Small Three" along with his classmates Tsubame and Hiroshi. One day, they play a disc borrowed from their homeroom teacher, Doc, and the screen shows another "real" world. When they look away, Futaba wanders into it, and the Small Three step into the "multiverse" to go after her.
