Amazon Game Studios and Crystal Dynamics have announced that Tomb Raider: Legacy of Atlantis, a full reimagining of the franchise's first title, will launch on Friday, February 12 in North America and Saturday, February 13 in Japan, 2027. A new trailer has also been released alongside the announcement.
The game is coming to PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Steam, and Nintendo Switch 2. Pre-orders are currently available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Steam.
Note: Pre-order details for the Nintendo Switch 2 version will be announced at a later date.

Returning to the origins of heroine Lara Croft, Tomb Raider: Legacy of Atlantis is built using Unreal Engine 5 and brings an entirely new look and feel to the 1996 original. In the Lost Valley of Peru, the puzzles have been rebuilt from scratch. While the original game had players moving through isolated rooms in sequence, this version expands the space into a semi-open environment where players can move and explore freely using multiple approaches.
The meticulously crafted environments are filled with secrets, collectibles, and resources to reward thorough explorers. Familiar mechanisms like gear-based puzzles return in redesigned forms that integrate naturally into the world.
