To celebrate YABA MISEN's opening in Shibuya, TOWER RECORDS SHIBUYA has announced a collaboration with the Nagoya-based Taiwan ramen restaurant, with exclusive apparel and goods launching on Saturday, April 25. The items feature original illustrations by artist ELLYLAND, and idol group Amato Danshi (甘党男子) serve as the wearing models.
The collaboration is tied to TOWER RECORDS SHIBUYA's ongoing in-store series "KNOW MUSIC KNOW ASIA Asian Music Journey," which launched in August 2025 under the concept of "discovering Asia through music." The section features curated Asian music and has been running as a dedicated corner within the store.

For the collaboration, ELLYLAND created a specially commissioned visual featuring a dog eating Taiwan ramen alongside character versions of popular YABA MISEN dishes, including sautéed greens (青菜炒め) and dumplings (餃子). The concept frames the collaboration as a new kind of Asian cultural experience — one where "Taiwan ramen meets music" brings taste and sound together.
Amato Danshi, who also appear in YABA MISEN's commercials, have been selected as the wearing models for the apparel items, making this a triple collaboration between TOWER RECORDS, YABA MISEN, and Amato Danshi.

About YABA MISEN
YABA MISEN traces its origins to five siblings — the children of Guo Zongren and Guo Wanglan, who once ran a Chinese restaurant in Nagoya. Each sibling went on to open their own restaurant under the name "MISEN." The eldest daughter's location, opened in 1981, evolved into today's YABA MISEN. The menu is known for its bold, slightly rich seasoning, with a depth of flavor achieved by simmering soup together with spicy minced meat. The signature heat comes from "Ajime Kosho" chili pepper from Ena — an ingredient that gives the dishes their addictive spiciness and has attracted a devoted following.
About ELLYLAND

ELLYLAND is an illustrator who captures relatable everyday scenes using bold black outlines and vivid pop colors. Each piece is drawn to spark the viewer's imagination about the moment just before or after the scene depicted. ELLYLAND is actively involved in solo exhibitions, group shows, and design projects.
About Amato Danshi

Amato Danshi (甘党男子) is a six-member Japanese idol group known for handing out sweets wherever they go. They perform "Annin Soft" (杏仁ソフト), the theme song for YABA MISEN's almond soft serve of the same name. With a goal of distributing sweets to all 123.3 million people in Japan, the group carries out daily sweet-sharing activities at event venues, live houses, and on the streets. On April 25, they celebrate their 9th anniversary with a solo concert, "Amato Danshi 9th Extreme Full Course" (甘党男子9極フルコース), at Asakusa Kokaido.
