The dramatic action RPG Yakuza Online is set to celebrate its 7.5th anniversary on May 21, 2026, with a series of in-game campaigns for players. Launched in November 2018 as a canonical continuation of the Yakuza series, the title has long offered large-scale alliance battles ("Donpachi") and competitive one-on-one "Taiman Battles."
New Rarity LR Arrives
A new rarity tier called "LR" is being introduced alongside the anniversary. LR characters feature a fourth ability slot beyond the three held by existing UR characters, and also come equipped with the new "Extra Ability (EX Ability)" system — opening up deeper strategic options and more intense battle experiences.
7.5th Anniversary Campaign Details
1. Special Login Bonus — Earn Ryuudama LR Every Day!
Period: May 1 (Fri) 12:00 AM – May 31 (Sun) 11:59 PM
Players who log in during this period can earn up to 40 "Ryuudama LR," materials essential for strengthening LR characters.
2. Get Kiryu Kazuma (7.5th Anniversary) as an Event Reward!
Period: May 4 (Mon) 2:00 PM – June 3 (Wed) 1:59 PM
The new LR character "Kiryu Kazuma (7.5th Anniversary)" can be obtained by completing events held during the campaign period.
3. 7.5th Anniversary Countdown Login Bonus — Up to 1,000 Diamonds!
Period: May 12 (Tue) 12:00 AM – May 21 (Thu) 11:59 PM
Simply logging in during the countdown window can earn players up to 1,000 diamonds.
4. 7.5th Anniversary Ticket Gacha — Chance to Win 500 Diamonds!
Period: May 1 (Fri) 12:00 AM – June 6 (Sat) 1:59 PM
Using dedicated tickets, players can enter a special gacha featuring guaranteed UR tickets, enhancement orbs, and up to 500 diamonds as possible rewards. Details are available in the in-game gacha announcement.
5. Up to 310 Pulls! Daily Free 10-Pull Gacha!

6. 7.5th Anniversary Donpachi Campaign — Limited Plate Added to May Monthly Rewards!

A limited-edition plate with a special 7.5th anniversary design will be added to the Donpachi monthly ranking rewards for May.
7. One-Time Free UR Confirmed Gacha — 2 UR Characters Guaranteed!
Period: May 21 (Thu) 12:00 AM – May 21 (Thu) 11:59 PM
On the anniversary day only, each player can pull once for free with a guaranteed 2 UR characters.
