Hakone Kowakien Yunessun, which celebrated its 25th anniversary on January 1st, 2026, announces a special event commemorating the theatrical release of Doraemon the Movie: New Nobita and the Castle of the Undersea Devil (opening February 27th, 2026). Doraemon the Movie: New Nobita and the Castle of the Undersea Devil - Hot Spring Marine Park in Yunessun Resort will run from March 7th (Saturday) through May 25th (Monday), 2026.
This event celebrates both Yunessun's 25th anniversary and the 45th film in the Doraemon movie series, featuring special content across two facilities: the water theme park Yunessun and the glamping resort Fuji no Kirameki Fuji Gotemba.
At Yunessun, the water theme park, decorations throughout the facility bring the ocean-themed movie world to life. A collaborative bath in the indoor area features the "Beachside Bath," inspired by Doraemon and friends departing on their adventure from the beach. Beyond the "Anywhere Door" in the outdoor area, visitors can enjoy the "Ocean View Sauna" where Doraemon and friends can be seen playing in the sea, and the "Undersea Cave Bath" inspired by the underwater world the characters explore in the film. Poolside, guests can enjoy the special drink "Marine Blue Soda." Visitors who present either a movie ticket stub, digital ticket barcode, or ticket purchase history for Doraemon the Movie: New Nobita and the Castle of the Undersea Devil receive discounted admission (with limited original goods).

Story
When the gang can't agree on where to go camping during summer vacation, Doraemon suggests camping in the middle of the ocean! Using the secret gadgets "Underwater Buggy" and "Adaptation Light," the five enjoy underwater camping while meeting various sea creatures. After discovering a sunken ship, they encounter a mysterious young man named El. He turns out to be an "undersea person" living in the Mu Federation beneath the ocean! The undersea people distrust land-dwellers and can't trust Nobita and friends. Then comes the announcement: "Onigashima Castle... has begun its activity!!" What is this "Onigashima Castle" that the undersea people fear? With faith in friendship in their hearts, embark on this grand adventure with Earth's fate hanging in the balance!
