Taito Corporation (headquarters: Shinjuku-ku, Tokyo) has confirmed March 18, 2027 (Thursday) as the release date for "Yuukyuu Gensoukyoku 2nd Album Revival," a Nintendo Switch™ remake of the second installment in the friendship-building simulation game series "Yuukyuu Gensoukyoku."
"Yuukyuu Gensoukyoku 2nd Album Revival" faithfully carries over the character voices performed by the original's star-studded cast of voice actors, preserving the atmosphere of the original release. While the story and character voices remain unchanged from the original, this revival version features character graphics fully renewed by moo, who handled the original character designs. In addition to the standard package version, a special edition with premium items will also be released. The special edition bundles the package version, an art book, reissued CDs, and goods, along with "Yuukyuu Gensoukyoku Ensemble 2Re:R."
"Yuukyuu Gensoukyoku Ensemble 2Re:R," included in the special edition, is a port based on "Yuukyuu Gensoukyoku Ensemble 2" with significantly renewed graphics and visuals. The theme song will be a self-cover track by Aki Hata, who also handled the theme song for the original version.

Aki Hata to Handle the Theme Song for "Yuukyuu Gensoukyoku Ensemble 2Re:R"!
The opening and ending movie theme songs for "Yuukyuu Gensoukyoku Ensemble 2Re:R" will be handled by Aki Hata, who also worked on the theme songs for the original "Yuukyuu Gensoukyoku" and its predecessor "Yuukyuu Gensoukyoku Revival." Self-cover versions of the songs will be included. Hata also shared a comment on taking on the theme song.
