◆Gunma Prefecture – Food & Nightlife
Gunma's twin nightlife hubs are Takasaki and Maebashi. Takasaki is known for its yakitori and gyoza culture, with rows of bustling skewer-focused izakayas. Around Maebashi Station, taverns and snack bars popular with office workers create a warm, casual drinking scene.
In hot spring towns like Kusatsu and Ikaho, many izakayas cater to visitors looking for a drink after bathing. In industrial cities like Kiryu and Ota, retro-style pubs and sake taverns reflect the local culture, offering a more down-to-earth nightlife.
Some places may not speak English, but with a local guide you can relax and enjoy. In certain areas, bars may be limited, so we will check if bar hopping is possible. Please feel free to book.
