In Kobe, the Sannomiya district is Hyogo's largest nightlife hub, filled with izakayas, bars, and jazz clubs that reflect the city's cosmopolitan flair. In Motomachi and Chinatown, international cuisine pairs well with drinks, while Shin-Kaichi retains retro pubs for an old-fashioned vibe.

In Himeji, the station area is lively, with izakayas serving Himeji oden and anago (conger eel) dishes alongside local sake. In Akashi, the local specialty akashiyaki (octopus dumplings) is a must-try bar snack. In rural areas like Tanba and Tajima, intimate taverns offer local dishes with regional sake.
