◆Iwate – Food & Nightlife
In Morioka, the Odori district is the prefecture's main nightlife hub, where you can enjoy local dishes like jajamen noodles and wanko soba with regional sake. Nearby Sakanacho offers retro-style pubs, ideal for a nostalgic drinking experience.

Along the Sanriku coast in towns like Kamaishi and Miyako, seafood izakayas highlight the freshest catches. In inland cities such as Hanamaki and Ichinoseki, hot spring towns and local taverns provide intimate, regional-style drinking experiences.
