◆Kamakura and Enoshima – Food & Nightlife

The Kamakura and Enoshima area is a popular destination where the history of an ancient capital meets a seaside resort atmosphere. During the day, visitors enjoy exploring temples and shrines, strolling along Komachi Street with its many food stalls, and savoring fresh seafood in Enoshima. In the evening, the atmosphere becomes calmer. Around Kamakura Station, you'll find clusters of izakayas and eateries, making it possible to enjoy bar hopping at two or three venues within walking distance. While small in scale, many of these spots are beloved by locals and offer a warm, welcoming atmosphere. In contrast, Enoshima has fewer dining options open at night and is less suited for bar hopping, but if you head toward Katase-Enoshima or Fujisawa Station, you'll discover izakayas and bars frequented by locals. Experience a unique evening in this area where history and the seaside charm come together.
