◆Mount Fuji Yamanashi – Food & Nightlife

The Mt. Fuji area in Yamanashi Prefecture is a popular destination centered around the 5th Station and the Fuji Five Lakes, offering both sightseeing and nature experiences. During the day, it is bustling with climbers and tourists, but in the evening the atmosphere becomes calm and quiet. For those who want to enjoy bar hopping, the Fujiyoshida area (around Shimoyoshida and Mt. Fuji stations) and the Kawaguchiko Station area are recommended. Here, small izakayas and bars are scattered within walking distance, making it possible to visit two or three places in one evening. However, since the number of venues is far fewer than in major cities, it's best to decide in advance which places you'd like to visit. On the other hand, lakeside resort areas such as Lake Motosu and Lake Yamanaka are mainly home to inns and tourist restaurants, with limited nightlife, making them more suitable for relaxing at a single venue.
