◆Miyazaki – Food & Nightlife

Nishitachi in Miyazaki City is one of Kyushu's largest nightlife districts. Here, you can enjoy charcoal-grilled local chicken and chicken nanban while toasting with regional shochu. From lively izakayas along the main streets to hidden snack bars in back alleys, the area is full of energy until late at night.

In Nobeoka, port-town izakayas specializing in seafood are especially popular. In Nichinan's Aburatsu district, retro streets are lined with izakayas where you can enjoy tuna and bonito dishes. Smaller towns such as Kobayashi and Takanabe have local-style pubs, offering a warm and down-to-earth drinking experience.
