After living in the United States for approximately 30 years working in business management, MAX returned to Japan with a passion for revitalizing the streets of Kobe. He transitioned into guiding and now leads bar hopping and food tours based in his home area of Arima Onsen. A veteran guide who has hosted everyone from solo travelers to cruise ship groups of 40, MAX is a devoted lover of wine and sake who knows the Arima drinking scene inside and out.
