The official YouTube channel for the popular anime "Atashin'chi" has announced that new episodes of "Atashin'chi NEXT" will begin streaming on November 20th, 2025 (Thursday).
The channel, operated by Shin-Ei Animation Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Nishitokyo City, Tokyo; President: Michihiko Umezawa) and SC Digital Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Daiki Nakahashi), has been active since May 2020, offering the TV anime episodes and exclusive special content.
The channel has grown to reach a wide audience across generations and currently has over 1.5 million subscribers, with continued growth.
New Episodes Coming to a Channel with 1.55 Million Subscribers
"Atashin'chi," the beloved manga by Kera Eiko, is a home comedy depicting the daily life of the Tachibana family - Mother, Father, high school sophomore daughter Mikan, and middle school second-year son Yuzuhiko.
The series was adapted into a TV anime in 2002, and in 2024, a new series "Atashin'chi NEXT" began streaming.
The official YouTube channel surpassed 1.5 million subscribers in July, and the "Atashin'chi phenomenon" continues strong in the Reiwa era!
The long-awaited new episodes (Episodes 6-10) will now be released!
New Episodes Featuring First-Time Anime Adaptations
New episodes will be released on the 20th of each month at 6:30 PM, starting November 20th (Thursday), for 5 consecutive months! All episodes will be anime adaptations for the first time.

About Kera Eiko
Born in Tokyo in 1962. "Atashin'chi," depicting daily life based on her own family, was serialized in the Yomiuri Shimbun Sunday edition (1996-2012), later adapted into a TV anime (2002-2009, 2015-2016) and films (2003, 2010). She received the 42nd Bunshun Manga Award in 1996. "Atashin'chi" has been translated and published in Korean and Chinese (traditional characters), and the anime series has been broadcast in Korea, Taiwan, and Hong Kong, enjoying tremendous popularity. In December 2019, she resumed serialization of "Atashin'chi" in the weekly magazine "AERA" (Asahi Shimbun Publications) after 7 years.
