Now in its 17th year, the highlight of this year's event is "Oto Illumi," a collaboration area featuring five artists (Crystal Kay, GRe4N BOYZ, Novelbright, Hata Motohiro, and Marcy) presenting illumination shows perfect for winter nights.
The show venue features a 15-meter-high symbolic tree at its center, with street corner phone booths, present boxes, long tables and chairs reminiscent of a banquet, and giant letter-shaped objects, creating a photogenic space as if stepping into a scene from a music video.
Additionally, the "Magical Wave" slider that opened this year, measuring 100 meters in length, and "Blue Sky Pedal," where visitors cycle through the sky at an elevation of 370 meters, will debut as night attractions. Together with the popular "Rainbow Lift," where visitors can enjoy an aerial walk surrounded by rainbow-colored lights, these attractions form the "Three Major Experiential Illuminations."
A collaboration area with Tamagotchi, the digital pet loved worldwide, "Discover Tamagotchi's Sparkling Illumination at Sagamiko!" will appear, along with the "Night Bubble Show" that received acclaim last year. Sagamiko Illumillion promises an abundance of immersive and experiential content beyond just illumination.
