Sanrio Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Shinagawa-ku, Tokyo; President: Tomokuni Tsuji) will host Hello Kitty's new event "HELLO KITTY'S PICNIC GARDEN" at Roppongi Hills Ohyane Plaza for a limited time from October 29 (Wednesday) to November 14 (Friday), 2025.
Hello Kitty, who celebrated her 50th anniversary last year, will continue activities toward her 55th anniversary under the theme of "Togetherness," connecting the world with kindness. Starting this year, the week from November 1st, Hello Kitty's birthday, to the 7th will be globally celebrated as "HELLO KITTY WEEK," an occasion for communication inspired by Hello Kitty.
In its first year, the event incorporates the trending fragrance experience, offering a picnic-like moment where visitors can bond more closely with friends, family, and partners while being surrounded by kindness.
Upon passing through a Hello Kitty face-shaped gate standing approximately 2 meters tall, visitors will find themselves in a photogenic "Picnic Area" that combines an English garden-inspired space reflecting Hello Kitty's London origins with a chic design based on houndstooth patterns. The area features exciting content including an "apple tree," a "photo space" where you can take pictures with Hello Kitty, and a "Fragrance Area" where visitors can receive a mini bottle of fragrance matching their mood of the day as a gift.
This event will be held simultaneously in Japan and Shanghai, with global expansion planned afterward. Additionally, "HELLO KITTY MAP" will launch globally on October 28 (Tuesday) as a digital platform for sharing kind acts with everyone around the world.

In celebration of Hello Kitty's birthday, a Monochrome Girly Twin Coordinate Design Series featuring trendy monochrome colors and houndstooth patterns will be sold for Kitty and Mimmy. The lineup includes 35 items such as plushies and secret mascot charms that serve as event souvenirs, as well as mascot holders and pouches.
