Tentang Acara Ini

Farm Tomita in Nakafurano, Hokkaido is one of Japan's most renowned lavender tourist farms, spreading across rolling hills. Since the land was first cultivated in 1903, lavender cultivation for fragrance began in 1958 under the second-generation owner Tadao Tomita, and the farm gained national recognition after being featured in a Japanese National Railways calendar in 1976. The farm cultivates five varieties of lavender that reach their peak in July, while over 80 varieties of flowers bloom in succession from spring to autumn. The iconic "Traditional Lavender Field" and the "Irodori-no-Hata (Colorful Field)" where lavender, baby's breath, poppies and other flowers bloom in rainbow-like stripes are widely known both domestically and internationally as spectacular views overlooking the Furano Basin and Tokachi mountain range. The grounds feature attractions such as the Distillery House, the Tomita Lavender Museum, and the Dried Flower House, along with a café serving lavender soft-serve ice cream and shops offering original products. Admission is free, and the convenient location just a 7-8 minute walk from the seasonal JR "Lavender Field Station" is another appealing feature.
