Kanda Curry Grand Prix - Japan's Premier Curry Town Festival

The Kanda–Jinbocho area in Tokyo's Chiyoda ward is famed as one of Japan's premier "curry towns," home to more than 400 curry restaurants. To showcase the neighborhood's appeal, the Kanda Curry Town Revitalization Committee was launched in 2011, and its flagship event—the Kanda Curry Grand Prix—was born. Each autumn, the Grand Prix hosts a final showdown where around 20 restaurants that have passed the preliminaries gather at the venue to serve their signature curries.
