Hello! This is Holiday Travel editorial team. Today, I would like to introduce the process from purchase to data delivery for our popular product, “1 Hour Private Photoshoot”!

I will explain in an easy-to-understand manner what you need to do the day before the shoot, what happens on the day of the shoot, and how the photos are delivered afterward. If you are interested in photography but are unsure what to do, please refer to this page.

From Reservation to Photo Shooting

1: Online reservation

On the application screen, select your desired date, time, number of people, language, and other details. Also, enter your preferred shooting location and any special requests in the provided free text space.

If you wish, you can also add a photo book as an additional option. It's very cute, we recommend it!

2: Matching with your assigned photographer

• If the shooting location is in Tokyo

Your reservation will be confirmed immediately after application.

• If the shooting location is outside of Tokyo

We will find a photographer available for your chosen language, date, and location.

3: Holiday Travel will contact you to confirm or cancel your reservation.

• If your reservation is confirmed

1: You will receive a confirmation of your reservation from the site where you applied.

2: You will receive an invitation from Holiday Travel via WhatsApp.

*All future correspondence will be conducted via WhatsApp. If you do not have a WhatsApp account, please register one in advance. *If you do not have a WhatsApp account, we will send you an invitation link by e-mail.

• If your reservation is not confirmed  

If there is no photographer that matches your requirements, your reservation may not be completed.

*If there is a potential photographer but the dates do not match, we may contact you via email or WhatsApp to see if the dates can be adjusted.

4: Communication in WhatsApp group

The WhatsApp group includes clients, staff, and photographers. This is where we can discuss any adjustments to the shoot!

We often receive requests for photo shoots like this

• Pinpoint the shooting location: For example, “I want to shoot at Shibuya Scramble Crossing.”
• Specify the desired atmosphere: Such as urban, natural, etc.
• Request a recommended spot: If you need suggestions.
• Share the image or style: Describe or provide a reference for the type of photo you’d like.
• Kimono Rental and Photoshoot: Many people wish to have their photoshoot in kimonos or Yukata. For example, they often rent kimonos in Asakusa and take photos afterward. *Dressing up in kimonos for your photoshoot is welcomed, but we do not provide kimono rental services so you will need to arrange this on your own.

5. Final Details and Guidance for the Photoshoot

Final information will be sent at least 72 hours prior to the tour date.

• Shooting time
• Number of people to be photographed
• Location of the photoshoot
• Meeting place (we will send you a link to a Google Map)
• Link to Google Drive where the photos will be uploaded

6：About the Weather

If rain is forecast for a scheduled photoshoot day, you have three options:

1. Reschedule: You can reschedule the shoot after consulting with the photographer. Please note that you will need to confirm the photographer's availability, so make your decision early.
2. Change Location: You can choose to change the location of the shoot to an indoor spot.
3. Cancel and Full Refund: You can cancel the shoot and receive a full refund.

Day of the Photoshoot

1: Meeting and Greeting

Head to the meeting place before the meeting time. If you can't find your photographer, you can send a message via WhatsApp!

*If you are 15 minutes late without notifying us, you will be considered as a no-show, so be sure to let us know.

2: Conversation with the photographer

If there is anything you would like photographed that hasn't been communicated to the photographer in advance, please let them know when you greet them.

3: Move to the photoshoot location

After greeting the photographer, we will be on the move. Feel free to have various conversations during the walk.

4: Photoshoot

Finally, it’s time to start the shoot!

Each person has one hour for their shoot, and how they use that time is up to them. I will show you three common patterns!

Pattern A: Stay in one place and capture a variety of shots

Recommended for people who:

• Have a strong desire to have their photos taken at one specific location
• Want to take photos in theme parks and other facilities
• Prefer not to spend a lot of time on transportation
• Want to visit popular spots where you might have to wait in line for photos (e.g., Tokyo Tower, Shibuya Sky, etc.)

Pattern B: Focus on two or three shooting spots

Recommended for people who:

• Want to take photos at their favorite spots, as well as a few additional locations along the way
• Have several favorite spots that are close to each other

Pattern C: Explore the town to find interesting places and photograph them

Recommended for people who:

• Want to take photos in an area with a charming overall atmosphere (e.g., Asakusa, Yanesen).
• Prefer to discover photo spots while strolling around

5: End of shooting

After one hour, the shooting is over. Thank you for the wonderful time!

After photoshoot

1: Sharing photos

The photographer and Holiday Travel staff will deliver the photo data to your pre-shared Google Drive within one week of the photoshoot. For example, if the shoot is on the 10th, the photos will be shared by the end of the 16th.

2: Confirmation of photos

The photographer will contact you via WhatsApp once the photos are uploaded to Google Drive. Please check as soon as possible to ensure your photos have been stored.

3: Retouching request

This product includes a retouching service for up to 10 photos. Select your favorite photos and send us a retouching request within one week. We will deliver the retouched images within next one week after receiving your request.

*Retouching includes brightness and color adjustments only. It does not cover background figure removal or body shape correction. Requests for retouching made more than one week after receiving the photos will be accommodated if possible, but it may take additional time.

When requesting retouching, please specify how you would like the photo to look.

If you're unsure, you can choose from the following three image patterns or leave it up to us.

A: Film-style（before→after）

B: Brighteness（before→after）

C: High contrast

4: After completion, please leave us a review!

Once you receive the retouched photos, the photoshoot service will be complete. If you enjoyed our service, please leave us a review.
