What's the first "must-try Japanese dish" to order at an izakaya?

At a Japanese izakaya, the go-to first order is definitely draft beer and edamame. Both come out quickly, and it's super common—whether you're young or older—to sip on your beer and snack on edamame while deciding what to order next.
