Personally, I really like AFURI! To be honest, I don't go to ramen shops that often (I usually prefer udon or soba), but AFURI's Yuzu Shio Ramen blew me away. I've even recommended it to foreign friends. It's light, refreshing, with a hint of yuzu citrus, and I can always finish the whole bowl easily.
If you're more into lighter flavors rather than rich and heavy ones, and want something that feels uniquely Japanese, I definitely recommend it.
They also have branches in popular sightseeing areas like Ebisu and Harajuku, so it's super convenient to stop by while exploring the city. You can search for other locations here: https://afuri.com/findus/
By the way, friends and other people often recommend Ichiran or Ippudo as well. Unlike AFURI's refreshing style, those places serve rich tonkotsu (pork bone) ramen—so doing a taste comparison could be a fun experience too 🍜.
