Summary
We have just launched a YouTube channel called Okinawa Holidays ✨. The first commemorative video is on 🏝Senaga Island, the closest resort island from Naha Airport! We enjoyed Okinawan soul food and juice at Umikaji Terrace on Senagashima Island. In addition, the hotel also has an aquarium and a garden pool available exclusively to hotel guests. ⭐︎ There are such great places near the airport 💕.

Travel Itinerary
11:00am Naha Airport（那覇空港）
Starting from Naha Airport! From Tokyo, it takes about 3 hours ✈️
Naha Airport is located in Naha City, Okinawa Prefecture. It is used by many people as a starting point for travel. In addition to the traditional purposes of travel and transportation, there are many stores and restaurants in the area.
11:20am Senagashima Island（瀬長島）
Here we are on an island in northern Okinawa! This remote island is located about 15 minutes by car from Naha Airport.
Senagashima Island is located in Tomigusuku-shi, Okinawa Prefecture, about 15 minutes by car from Naha Airport. Since it is located directly under the takeoff and landing paths of airplanes, visitors can enjoy a powerful view of the airplanes. Since there are no vending machines nearby, it is recommended to bring your own drinks.
11:30am Senagashima Island Umikaji Terrace（瀬長島ウミカジテラス）
A shopping spot located on Senagashima Island. You can enjoy gourmet foods and sweets unique to Okinawa! Lovely white buildings designed in the image of overseas resorts such as Santorini Island in Italy✨.

Senagashima Umikaji Terrace is a sightseeing and shopping spot located on Senagashima Island in Tomigusuku-shi, Okinawa Prefecture. According to word of mouth, it is located near the airport and has a reputation for beautiful scenery and spectacular views of the ocean, and is especially recommended for its taco rice restaurant Kijimunaa and gelato.
11:30am Taco rice cafe Kijimunaa Umikaji Terrace store（タコライスcafe きじむなぁ ウミカジテラス店）
When we were getting hungry, we went to Taco Rice Cafe Kijimunaa at Umikaji Terrace to fill up on some food. The “Omutaco” is an Okinawan specialty of taco rice topped with a fluffy egg, and is a popular menu item here! There are many other taco rice dishes with various toppings, all of which look so delicious that it is hard to decide which one to try.
I ordered the Omutaco with Bacon & Mozzarella Cheese (1,100 yen). For the taco rice, I chose the medium hot meat from a selection of five flavors. The slightly spicy ketchup, dressing, and the mildness of the fluffy egg and cheese in it were the perfect combination! 🤤

Taco rice cafe Kijimunaa Umikaji Terrace store in Tomigusuku-shi, Okinawa Prefecture is a restaurant specializing in taco rice. It is the originator of the unique “Omutaco” style of taco rice, and the “Omutaco” with a fluffy egg on top of taco rice is very popular. With terrace seating available, this is a dog-friendly place. Business hours are from 11:00am to 9:00pm, and it is not closed on regular holidays.

At a banana juice specialty store that uses plenty of Okinawan island bananas, I ordered the chunky island banana plain (600 yen). The rich but fresh island banana has the best gentle sweetness! Recommended after a meal or when you are hungry.

The aquarium is located right next to the Ias Okinawa Toyosaki shopping mall. It is a new type of entertainment aquarium that makes full use of the latest visual expression and spatial presentation. Admission (adult): 2,400 yen

DMM Kariyushi Aquarium is located in Tomigushiro City, Okinawa Prefecture. It is a new type of entertainment aquarium that makes full use of the latest visual expression and spatial presentation, and admission is 2,400 yen for adults. The aquarium offers a different kind of fun from the Churaumi Aquarium, where visitors can interact with animals. There is a large shopping center and beach nearby, and it is easily accessible by car from Naha Airport in about 20 minutes. Word of mouth has it that the aquarium is attracting attention as a new aquarium and that it is recommended to stop by on the way home from shopping.
2:00pm Toyosaki Seaside Park Chura SUN Beach（豊崎海浜公園 美らSUNビーチ）
The beach is located very close to DMM Kariyushi Aquarium. The water is clear and clean. Unfortunately, we were not blessed with good weather on this day, but would like to visit again on a sunny day! There was also a marine athletic ⭐︎

Toyosaki Seaside Park Chura SUN Beach is one of the largest man-made beaches in Okinawa Prefecture, located in Toyomigusuku City, Okinawa. Visitors can enjoy swimming, athletic activities, and barbecues. Reviews favor the wide beach, clean ocean, and ocean athletic activities, and it is conveniently located near the airport.
