Local specialties also include the popular B-class gourmet ankake yakisoba (stir-fried noodles with a thick sauce), LeTAO's cheesecake, and Kamaei's famous fish cakes. The city also offers a wide variety of drinks, from Tanaka Shuzo's sake to Otaru Wine and Otaru Beer. Most nightlife spots are concentrated around Otaru Station, making it easy for visitors to enjoy bar hopping in a welcoming atmosphere. - Yoichi Area Yoichi is world-renowned as the home of the Nikka Whisky Yoichi Distillery, making it a must-visit destination for whisky lovers. The area is also a major wine-producing region, with Yoichi Wine and small-scale wineries producing distinctive bottles. Visitors can enjoy these drinks alongside the town's fresh seafood. While Yoichi does not have a large nightlife district, cozy izakayas and local snack bars are scattered around the station area, offering an authentic and relaxed local nightlife experience.
