1955 Tokyo Bay by Hoshino Resorts Hosts Cola-Themed Old-American Christmas Event "OLDIES COLA HOLIDAY 1955"

1955 Tokyo Bay by Hoshino Resorts, a hotel that pursues a convenient and comfortable theme park stay with a design motif inspired by America around 1955, will once again host "OLDIES COLA HOLIDAY 1955," a fizzy old-American Christmas event, from November 10 to December 25, 2026. The event is themed around cola, a drink born in America and enjoyed as a Christmas favorite. A Christmas tree decorated with ornaments inspired by bursting carbonation bubbles will brighten the hotel. The Cafeteria will serve a burger made with cola and a drink that lets guests create their own cola arrangements by combining toppings and syrups. New this year is "Cola Crown Hunt," a quiz game in which guests search for crown bottle caps scattered around the hotel. It's an old-American Christmas event unique to 1955 Tokyo Bay.

Background

1955 Tokyo Bay's concept is "OLDIES GOODIES," and the hotel is themed around America in 1955, the year the world's first Disneyland opened. The event was planned with the hope that guests could enjoy an old-American Christmas unique to 1955 Tokyo Bay, with cola as its theme because of its close ties to American culture of that era and its fit with the special mood of the holiday season. Old-American decorations that sparkle like carbonation and limited-time menus made with cola, a holiday-season staple, add to the festive atmosphere.

Feature 1: An Old-American Christmas Tree Decorated With Ornaments Inspired by Bursting Carbonation Bubbles and Road Signs

Tree decorated with ornaments inspired by carbonation bubbles and road signs

A Christmas tree with glowing neon signs decorates the lobby, which is themed around the world of America around 1955. Next to it is parked an American car loaded with large cola bottles, and guests can climb in and take photos. The tree is decorated with ornaments inspired by cola bursting from the bottle and carbonation bubbles, along with garlands of popcorn and cranberries, a traditional American decoration, and ornaments reminiscent of road signs, creating an old-American Christmas atmosphere.

Feature 2: "Cola Crown Hunt," a Quiz Rally to Find Crown Bottle Caps [NEW]

Searching for crown bottle caps and taking on the quiz

Inspired by the American custom of the "Christmas Pickle" (*1), the hotel holds its first-ever in-hotel quiz rally, "Cola Crown Hunt." Guests tour the lobby and the 2nd Room, find seven crown bottle caps, and take on a quiz. Telling the keyword they arrive at to a staff member earns them an original goods item for this event. It's an experience unique to 1955 Tokyo Bay that lets guests explore the hotel while soaking up the American Christmas mood of that era.

*1 A popular American custom in which a pickle-shaped ornament is hidden in the Christmas tree, and the first person to find it is said to receive good luck or an extra present.

Feature 3: Limited-Time Menu Made With Cola, a Holiday-Season Staple: "Cola Chicken Burger" and "HOLIDAY COLA BAR"

HOLIDAY COLA BAR for creating original arrangements

The "Cafeteria," which evokes an American diner, serves a limited-time menu made with cola. The "Cola Chicken Burger" is a hearty burger with avocado arranged like a Christmas wreath on top of fried chicken and a beef patty. The popping sensation when eating it is stronger this year, and the burger is best enjoyed with the bursting cola sauce poured over it. The Cafeteria also offers "HOLIDAY COLA BAR," where guests combine American-style toppings and syrups to create their own cola arrangements. Toppings include sweets such as gingerbread cookies and popcorn, so guests can pack in whatever they like for an arrangement of their own.

Location: Cafeteria

Price: Cola Chicken Burger ¥2,500 / HOLIDAY COLA BAR ¥900 (all tax included)

Feature 4: The "2nd Room," Where Guests Can Feel Like They're at an American Christmas Party

A spot inspired by an American family Christmas party

In America, Christmas is typically spent relaxing with family around a lavish dinner. During the event, the "2nd Room," a public space that guests can use freely at any time during their stay, is transformed into a space that captures the atmosphere of an American Christmas party. As a photo spot, a Christmas tree and a table set with a feast in front of a fireplace appear. Guests who take a seat can take photos as if they were attending a home party in America of that era. Gathering around the limited-time menu items bought at the Cafeteria and enjoying a party with family and friends in the 2nd Room is also recommended.
