Acer Japan has released three new models from its Predator gaming laptop lineup, all equipped with NVIDIA GeForce RTX 50 Series Laptop GPUs. The lineup includes one Predator Helios 18 AI model and two Predator Helios Neo 16S AI models, available from June 24, 2026 at electronics retailers, their online stores, and the Acer official online store.
Predator Helios 18 AI: 18-Inch Flagship with High-Performance Hardware
The Predator Helios 18 AI (model: PH18-I71-A93Z58/E) is an 18-inch flagship gaming laptop powered by the Intel Core Ultra 9 processor 290HX Plus and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5080 Laptop GPU. It comes with 32GB DDR5 memory and a 1TB SSD, handling not only gaming but also streaming, recording, video editing, and generative AI workloads.
NVIDIA Blackwell Architecture and AI Features
The laptop supports NVIDIA Blackwell architecture with RTX Tensor Cores, DLSS 4, and ray tracing-based neural rendering technology, delivering high-resolution visuals and smooth frame rates in supported games. Users can choose between the NVIDIA Game Ready Driver for gaming and the NVIDIA Studio Driver for creative tasks such as video editing, 3D production, and generative AI.
18-Inch Mini LED Display
The display is an 18-inch WQXGA (2560×1600) Mini LED panel with a 16:10 aspect ratio. It supports a 250Hz refresh rate, NVIDIA G-SYNC, DCI-P3 100%, Calman Verified certification, and VESA Certified DisplayHDR 1000. The matte panel reduces reflections for extended gaming and work sessions.
6th-Generation AeroBlade 3D Fan Cooling
The cooling system features two 6th-generation AeroBlade 3D fans, each using 100 ultra-thin 0.05mm metal blades — approximately 10% more airflow than the previous generation. Combined with vector heat pipes and liquid metal thermal compound, the system supports stable performance under heavy workloads.
The WASD and arrow keys feature replaceable MagKey 4.0 switches with 0.3mm keystroke actuation using the patented magnetic mechanism, enabling fast and precise key inputs.
Wi-Fi 7 and Thunderbolt 5 Connectivity
The Predator Helios 18 AI includes Killer Wi-Fi 7 BE1750x for fast and stable wireless connectivity in supported network environments, alongside wired LAN support. Two Thunderbolt 5-compatible USB4 Type-C ports enable video output, high-speed data transfer, and peripheral connectivity.
Note: Maximum transfer speed is 40Gbps when connected to USB4-compatible devices.
PredatorSense and Predator Vox Audio
The audio system consists of a 6-speaker configuration with DTS Ultra, Acer TrueHarmony, and Predator Vox technology for immersive sound. Acer PurifiedVoice supports voice communication during gaming and streaming.
The PredatorSense app provides a single interface for managing RGB lighting, overclocking, and fan speed. The Experience Zone offers access to AI-powered gaming and productivity features. Acer Intelligence Space detects the system configuration and recommends AI applications and settings tailored to the usage environment.

Predator Helios Neo 16S AI: 16-Inch OLED in a Slim Form Factor
The Predator Helios Neo 16S AI packs a 16-inch OLED display into a slim body measuring approximately 18.9mm thick and weighing approximately 2.16kg. Two configurations are available:
- PHN16S-I51-N93Z57: Intel Core Ultra 9 processor 386H + NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070 Laptop GPU
- PHN16S-I51-N73Z56: Intel Core Ultra 7 processor 356H + NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5060 Laptop GPU
Both models include 32GB DDR5 memory and a 1TB SSD, covering gaming, streaming, video editing, and generative AI tasks. The Intel AI Boost dedicated engine supports AI processing for background effects and audio enhancement in online communication and streaming.
Both models support NVIDIA Blackwell architecture with RTX Tensor Cores, DLSS 4, and neural rendering, along with the choice of Game Ready or Studio drivers.
Note: NVIDIA Game Ready Driver and NVIDIA Studio Driver cannot be used simultaneously. Install one depending on your use case.
16-Inch WQXGA OLED Display
The 16-inch WQXGA (2560×1600) OLED display with a 16:10 aspect ratio delivers deep blacks and high contrast characteristic of OLED technology. It supports DCI-P3 100%, Calman Verified, VESA Certified DisplayHDR True Black 1000, NVIDIA G-SYNC, and a 165Hz refresh rate for smooth gameplay in fast-paced titles.
Cooling System for a Slim Body
The cooling system uses two fans: a 5th-generation AeroBlade 3D fan with 89 ultra-thin 0.08mm metal blades offering approximately 10% more airflow than the previous generation, and a plastic fan. Liquid metal thermal compound further enhances CPU cooling performance, enabling stable operation under heavy loads in the slim chassis.

Wi-Fi 6E, Wired LAN, and Thunderbolt 4
Killer Wi-Fi 6E AX1675i provides fast and stable wireless connectivity in supported environments. Wired LAN is also available for online gaming and large file downloads. A Thunderbolt 4-compatible USB Type-C port supports up to 40Gbps data transfer and video output for expanding gaming and creative setups.
PredatorSense and AI Features
The 4-zone RGB backlit Japanese-layout keyboard can be customized through PredatorSense, along with overclocking and fan speed management. The audio system includes DTS Ultra and Acer TrueHarmony for spatial sound, while Acer PurifiedVoice supports voice chat and streaming audio.
Acer Intelligence Space detects the system configuration and suggests relevant AI applications, covering Creator Space, ProCam, Game Assistant, Desktop Utilities, and more.
