Plus Corporation, based in Minato City, Tokyo, will add "Sakura Fuji" (桜富士) as a new standard color of the Air-In Fuji Eraser, which goes on sale on November 2, 2026. The eraser lets users enjoy the act of erasing while creating a Mount Fuji of their own. The suggested retail price is 275 yen including tax.
The Air-In Fuji Eraser is a new-concept eraser that grew out of the long-selling "Air-In" series, which is popular for its feel of always erasing with a corner. It is made of two layers of resin in different colors, and when it is erased in a balanced way from side to side and front to back, the body takes on a mountain shape and Mount Fuji appears. Since "Ao Fuji" (青富士) became a standard color in December 2019, limited-edition designs have been released several times a year, and the sakura motif has been especially popular. "Sakura Fuji" now joins the lineup as a standard product. It is also recommended as a gift or as a Japanese souvenir.
A Popular Sakura Color Joins the Standard Lineup
The eraser uses a cute pink resin inspired by cherry blossoms, which, along with Mount Fuji, are a symbol of Japanese scenery. The case also features a soft cherry blossom motif, with a slightly classical look, and comes in a total of six designs. Silver foil stamping adds to a design that is both charming and vibrant.
The top of the case has a curved finish that spreads out the force applied while erasing, which helps keep the eraser body from breaking.

As the four corners of the eraser wear away, the body takes on a mountain shape and the summit of a snow-dusted Mount Fuji appears. By erasing carefully so that the shape stays symmetrical, users can enjoy watching it change while creating a "Mount Fuji" of their own.
