Apopia: Sugar Coated Tale, a mystery adventure game combining humor-filled storytelling with dark puzzle-solving, has launched worldwide on Steam as part of Happinet's Indie Collection label. The title became available on March 3, 2026, at 5:00 PM (Japan Time).

Apopia: Sugar Coated Tale is an adventure game that weaves humor-filled storytelling with dark, mysterious puzzle-solving. A young girl named Mai finds herself lost in a sugar-coated, adorable fantasy world — and the player's role is to help her find her way home.
Along the journey, Mai encounters a cast of unique characters: Niko, a cat she meets early on; Molly, a kind-hearted rabbit; and her three musketeers. As the story progresses, each character's deeper background, their bonds with Mai, and the hidden "truth" are slowly revealed.

Set in a hand-drawn animated fantasy world without humans, players embark on a curious adventure. Encounters with cats, moles, and an array of distinctive rabbits draw players into an unfamiliar story.
