Three new models of the BOTTLE in BOTTLE (ボトルインボトル) insulated pet bottle holder are set to launch from Atlas, a manufacturer of stainless steel tableware and kitchen goods based in Hachioji, Tokyo. The Foldable Type (E2) goes on sale June 1, 2026, followed by the Strap Type (A2) and Fixed Handle Type (C2) on June 15, 2026.
The series uses vacuum insulation — the same technology found in thermos bottles — to keep cold and hot drinks at the right temperature for longer. The new generation introduces a wider inner diameter of approximately 77mm, making square-shaped pet bottles compatible for the first time within the lineup. A redesigned triple-screw mechanism also makes the holder noticeably easier to open and close compared to previous models.
About the BOTTLE in BOTTLE Series
The BOTTLE in BOTTLE concept is straightforward: drop a chilled pet bottle inside and the insulation keeps it cold for extended periods. The series has shipped over 5 million units cumulatively (including OEM, as of May 2026). Because the beverage does not come into direct contact with the holder's interior, no regular cleaning of the holder is necessary — simply swap out the bottle when you are done. The label of the inserted bottle is also not visible through the holder, making it practical for use in offices and other public settings.
Vacuum Insulation Keeps Drinks at the Right Temperature
The holder's body uses a vacuum-insulated double-wall structure that minimizes exposure to outside air temperatures, keeping both cold and hot beverages enjoyable for longer.
Square Bottle Compatible — Largest Inner Diameter in the Series
The new models feature an inner diameter of approximately 77mm — the widest in the BOTTLE in BOTTLE lineup — without changing the overall body size. This expansion means the holders can now fit square-shaped pet bottles, broadening the range of compatible beverages.
Compatible with Approximately 90% of Best-Selling Pet Bottle Brands
Models are available in three size ranges: 600mL–700mL, 500mL–650mL, and a compact 300mL–500mL size intended for hot beverages. Both cold and hot drinks can be used with any compatible bottle. (Based on Atlas research, February 2021 – May 2026, including OEM)
New Triple-Screw Mechanism for Smoother Operation
The redesigned triple-screw system reduces the number of rotations needed to open and close the holder, achieving approximately 1.5 times smoother operation compared to previous models.
Strap Type (A2): Multiple Carrying Options
The Strap Type offers multiple ways to carry the holder depending on the situation, making it easy to take on the go.
Fixed Handle Type (C2): Wide Grip for a Secure Hold
The wide handle is easy to grip firmly and can be pulled out of a bag without difficulty. It is also compatible with hooks and carabiners for additional carrying options.
Foldable Handle Type (E2): Compact for Everyday Carry
The foldable handle provides a comfortable grip when extended and folds flat to stay compact inside a bag. It can also be attached to hooks or carabiners.
No Condensation on the Outside
The vacuum insulation structure not only maintains temperature but also prevents condensation from forming on the outside of the holder. Documents, bags, and desk surfaces stay dry whether the holder is used indoors or outdoors.

The holder's dimensions have been carefully optimized to maintain a compact body while achieving approximately 90% compatibility with best-selling pet bottle brands.
The lid features a non-slip inner surface that firmly holds pet bottles of varying heights, reducing slipping and accommodating a wide range of bottle shapes.
