A touring exhibition dedicated to the popular smartphone game The Battle Cats is set to open at YOKOHAMA COAST (ASOBIRU 2F ROOM1) in Yokohama from April 24 to May 24, 2026.
The Battle Cats is a tower defense game first released in 2012 for iOS and Android. Players grow an army of uniquely designed cats and conquer stages set in Japan, the future, and even outer space. The game has built a large fanbase both in Japan and internationally, surpassing 110 million cumulative downloads worldwide as of September 2025.
The exhibition recreates the world of the game across multiple themed areas. Visitors can explore faithfully rendered stages from Japan, the Future, Outer Space, and the Gamatoto Expedition, among others. The show also features content spanning the game's history, including past collaboration highlights, never-before-seen character rough sketches from development, and the beloved "Cat's One-Liners" collection — making it a must-visit for longtime fans.
In addition to the exhibit itself, a selection of venue-exclusive original merchandise will be available for purchase at the event. A portion of items from the PONOS official store "Nyanko Daishouten" and its special branch "Nyanko Daishouten Shucchoujo Kaiun Shofuku!" will also be on sale.
