About the Story: Unico

The story of Unico, a young unicorn who brings happiness to those around him

Jealous that the mortal Psyche is more beautiful and beloved than herself, the goddess Venus discovers that Psyche's happiness comes from her young unicorn companion, Unico. Venus orders the West Wind spirit Zephyrus to carry Unico far away. Unable to disobey but filled with pity, Zephyrus takes Unico beyond the stream of time. From an Indigenous world to a medieval European castle, a modern European forest, a fairy kingdom, and the Russian Empire — Unico wanders through countless times and places, losing all memory of what came before with each new journey.
