HIKE Inc. (headquarters: Shinjuku-ku, Tokyo; representative: Masataka Mikami) created illustrations for the Blue Archive music video (developed by NEXON Games, operated by Yostar). Each music video was previewed at the 5th-anniversary live event "Blue Archi Fes! Go! Go!! Sensei♪," and "Yearned-for Days" has been streaming on the official Blue Archive YouTube channel since January 21st.

Project Overview
Building a Production System Suited to the Work
One of the major factors that determines illustration quality is "how many creators with deep IP understanding can be gathered." For this project, HIKE assigned illustrators well-versed in Blue Archive's worldview, character personalities, and touch expression. As a result, the composition and colors that bring out the characters' charm achieved quality that received high praise from the client even in the rough draft stage of production.
Teist Adjustment to Match the MV
In this project, rather than drawing all illustrations in the same tone, the touch was flexibly adjusted according to the production intent as a music video. In some scenes, instead of the usual Blue Archive illustration touch, a deliberately exaggerated cute teist was adopted. While maintaining respect for the work, HIKE pursued expressions more suited to the tempo of the music and the rhythm of the video.
