Brown Dust 2, the RPG published by NEOWIZ, has added a new character cassette titled "合龍伝 (Gouryuden)" as of July 30, 2026 (Thursday), along with a new costume and other updates.
Character Cassette 10: "合龍伝 (Gouryuden)"
Character cassettes let players experience original stories for individual characters, set apart from the main storyline's world and setting.
The newly added Character Cassette 10, "合龍伝 (Gouryuden)," follows young women of the martial world overcoming a crisis that has befallen the new land of "龍恩郷 (Ryuonkyou)." It shares the same setting as Character Cassette 6, "御剣伝 (Mitsurugiden)."
The story is fully voiced in Japanese.
New Costume: "Tenshu's Heir Glacia"
A new costume, "Tenshu's Heir Glacia," has been added and is available in the pickup along with dedicated equipment until before maintenance on August 13 (Thursday).
Tenshu's Heir Glacia deals damage to enemies and maintains the chains accumulated on them for a set number of turns.
In addition, "Comeback Idol Yuri," "Sword Empress Sylvia," and "Angel of Destruction Therese" are also returning in revival pickups (see in-game announcements for periods and details).
New Season Event: "The Successor" (Until Before Maintenance on August 13)
Season events run for a limited time and offer a range of content, including story chapters, challenge battles, and the PVE mode Monster Chaser.
"The Successor" follows Glacia, who was taken in by the master of Tenshu and became a disciple of the sect, as she strives to become a true hero of the martial world.
Additional Content
- Daily Stories featuring the characters introduced in Character Cassette 10 have been added, letting players enjoy different sides of Glacia, Helena, Sylvia, Kyuubi, and Yuri.
- The Prestige Skin "Eternal Mascot Yuri" and the Special Skin "Crimson Sylvia" have been added. Equipping them unlocks new standing art and skill cut-in scenes different from the originals.
- A new "Consultation" feature is now available with Tenshu's Heir Glacia and Sword Empress Sylvia, letting players increase their intimacy with each character through conversation.
