The smartphone RPG BrownDust2 from NEOWIZ has added Character Cassette 11 "幽霊の夜 (Yurei no Yoru)" and the season event "Loyal Maid" after maintenance on October 8, 2026 (Thursday), bringing a Halloween atmosphere to the game a little ahead of the season.
Character Cassette 11: "幽霊の夜 (Yurei no Yoru)"
Character cassettes let players experience original stories for individual characters, set apart from the main storyline's world and setting.
In the newly added Character Cassette 11, "幽霊の夜," the Master (player) and the ghost hunter アクィラ are trapped in a haunted mansion and try to escape.
The story is fully voiced in Japanese.
Season Event: "Loyal Maid"
Season events run for a limited time and offer a range of content, including challenge battles, the PVE content Monster Chaser, and missions.
"Loyal Maid" is connected to Character Cassette 11, "幽霊の夜." It tells the story of ネケンダリア, who wakes up in the haunted mansion, becomes a maid, and struggles through one hardship after another.
In the event shop, players can exchange the event item "Halloween Cookie (ハロウィンクッキー)," which is earned through the season event content, for various items.
Special Skin for ティル and a New Mini-Game
The special skin "不器用な狼 ティル" has been added. It lets players change the appearance of the "イノセント・バニー ティル" costume.
A new mini-game, "Mansion Runaway," has also been added. Played from a first-person perspective, it has players collect candy inside a dungeon while avoiding pursuers.
Other Updates
- "ゆるゆるミイラ ネケンダリア" and "イノセント・バニー ティル" have been added as characters available for the "Consultation" feature. Raising the intimacy level through consultations earns rewards and unlocks hidden stories.
- The battle UI has been improved.
- The amount of gold and smelting powder (製錬粉) received has been increased.
Other changes are also included in the update.
