The relaxing idle mobile game Cats & Soup has rolled out a major update themed "The Beautiful Flower Path of the Kingdom" on March 13, 2026 (Friday). The update brings a warm spring atmosphere to the game, along with system improvements and new content shaped by player feedback.
"Kitten's Travel Destination" Event
Running until 8:59 AM on April 6 (Monday), the "Kitten's Travel Destination" event lets players earn points to unlock limited spring-themed items. These include a new forest theme "Wisteria Forest," a friend character "Spring Flower Dragon," and "Flower-Scented Dishes." Unlocking photos at locked travel destinations also grants additional special rewards, such as exclusive costumes for baby cats.
New Cat Character and Facilities
A new limited cat, the "Lilac Tabby," is available until 8:59 AM on April 9 (Thursday). Fitting the spring kingdom theme, this cat can be encountered at the "Observatory" and in "Nyanko's Travel."
Two new facilities have also been added: "Violet Grooming," where cats tend to sweet violets, and "Coffee Time," where cats relax while leisurely enjoying coffee.
Costume Storage Revamped
The existing "Costume Storage" has been completely overhauled and relaunched as the "Fitting Room." Players can now try on all owned costumes on their cats and customize them freely, making costume management more intuitive while enhancing the enjoyment of decorating.
Limited-Time Login Bonuses
To celebrate St. Patrick's Day on March 17 (Tuesday), players who log in between March 13 (Friday) and March 31 (Tuesday) will receive special rewards. Players who have not logged in for 30 or more days will also receive special missions and a guide to help them return to the game.
Additionally, nine types of spring-themed limited decoration packages — including "Special Guests" and "Facility Skin Sets" — and four types of "Beautiful Kingdom Gem Packages" are newly available.
