Chiikawa Pocket ("Chiipoke"), the first smartphone app based on Chiikawa, is marking its 1.5-year anniversary since launch on September 27, 2026. To celebrate, a special anniversary site and a commemorative video have been released.
Alongside the anniversary, a "Peter Pan Event" is being held in the app, and new costumes appearing in the event have also been revealed. The official Chiipoke X account is running a campaign to mark the 1.5-year anniversary as well. In addition, the official version of the "Fureai" (interaction) feature is set to launch on the same day.
Chiikawa Pocket is a smartphone game app based on the popular manga series Chiikawa, created by illustrator Nagano and originally posted on X (formerly Twitter). Built around the concept of being always together with the Chiikawa characters, anytime and anywhere, the app offers a collection of activities that capture the world of Chiikawa. It has been available since March 27, 2025, in 43 countries and regions worldwide.

A "Peter Pan Event" is being held to mark the 1.5-year anniversary. Progressing through the event lets players obtain the home item "A Cute Visitor Through the Window."

Six "1.5 Year Anniversary" Campaigns Held Both In and Outside the App
Chiipoke is marking its 1.5-year anniversary since launch on September 27, 2026. To celebrate, six campaigns are being held.
①**"Ad Skip Login Bonus"**
Ahead of the 1.5-year anniversary, players will receive a daily "Ad Skip (1 Day)" login bonus from the countdown period through the end of the campaign.
Using "Ad Skip (1 Day)" lets players enjoy Chiikawa Pocket ad-free for the rest of the period.
This login bonus is held in two parts.

- Part 1, "Countdown Ad Skip Login Bonus": September 18 (Fri), 2026, 3:00 PM to September 26 (Sat), 2026, 4:59 PM

"Fureai" Feature for Enjoying Life With Chiikawa Officially Launches
The official version of the "Fureai" feature is scheduled to launch on September 27 (Sun), 2026. The main updates from the currently available trial version are as follows.
①Character Voices Added to Some "Fureai" Features
Character voices will be added to some "Fureai" features, such as "Petting" and "Feeding." Players can enjoy even livelier interactions than before.
②**"Friendship Level" Added**
Interacting with Chiikawa through actions like "Petting" and "Feeding," or taking care of it, will earn "Friendship Points" when players return to their room. Collecting "Friendship Points" raises the "Friendship Rank," and reaching a new rank for the first time earns a reward. Higher ranks bring different items.
Reaching the maximum rank also unlocks a "Friendship Stamp" once per day. Using "Friendship Stamps" to fill a "Friendship Stamp Card" earns items such as furniture and loungewear. Players can deepen their bond with Chiikawa by enjoying everyday interaction.
If there is no interaction or care for a certain period of time, the "Friendship Rank" may decrease.
③Enhanced "Bath" Presentation
A dirty Chiikawa can be washed in the "Bath" feature at any time. Tapping or swiping creates bubbles, and once clean, players can rinse them off with the "Get Out of the Bath" button.
Interaction during bath time is also more elaborate, with Chiikawa reacting in more varied ways depending on the player's actions. There are also things besides the characters that move when tapped, so look out for them.
④New Event-Themed Furniture and Loungewear Added
New furniture and loungewear themed around the events held regularly in the app will be added. For the 1.5-year anniversary on September 27 (Sun), 2026, "Peter Pan"-themed furniture and loungewear are planned to appear.
